Cattle Up’s overall philosophy of proper stockmanship is achieved by utilizing the techniques of our mentors, Bud and Eunice Williams. Cattle Up Ranch’s production philosophy is as mentioned above, efficient and effective stockmanship through proper communication. We have taken the invaluable wisdom imparted to us, put it into practice and continue learning from the cattle we work every day, while doing our part to keep them in a healthy mental state. One of our core beliefs is that livestock, when handled properly, will develop trust and respect (not fear) which translates into a wide variety of positive results including better weight gains, less sickness, easy gathers, efficient corral work and happier cattle/handlers.
